A member has pointed this out to me. If they are logged out of "my board" and get an email notification for a thread etc they are subscribed to, the link in the email leads them to the main page for the mfipb.com boards. From there, there is NO way for them to find "my" board unless they have it bookmarked somehow. A user would have to log into my site and THEN go back to their emai land click on the link provided. For those of us always logged in there is no trouble. But, I have to wonder when sending out a bulk email if the same problem exists.
If I am trying to bring back folks that may have long ago logged out there is no way for them to find me again, right?
Maybe I should go do a bulk email to my test accts and see what shows up.
My other question is almost the same question! Can I edit the outgoing email notification that is sent to include a direct link to my board for members to log into?
Also, at the end of the email notification is the following:
| Quote: | You can unsubscribe at any time by logging into your control panel and clicking on the "View Subscriptions" link.
Regards,
The YourCoupons team.

It signs off with my board name "team" but then provides a link to the free boards company--mfipb.com. Can I change that since I do not see the purpose of folks being routed to the main company site.
Thanks for any help with my issues--I do appreciate it! |

I will look into this. I have a feeling though it is going to be a tough one to resolve, the way the emails are sent. Have you changed anything in your general config that removes the mforum part? _________________ Please use the search function. |
