I tried to start a topic on my forum and the window I got to type in the subject and Message body scaled off the screen. I noticed that the Emoticons were in a row horizontally instead of vertically and it appeared that they were pushing the topic area out of it's normal size. How can I get the new topic page to conform to the size of the screen?

My forum is: http://www.myfreebulletinboard.com/f/?mforum=scentsibility

This is a post which I tried to edit and the same thing happened: http://www.myfreebulletinboard.com/f/index.php?mforum=scentsibility&showtopic=10
It doesn't seem to happen in all cases, just some. Perhaps I have a control set wrong, but I can't seem to find which one it is.

Also, several times I have tried to post an image and end up with the coding showing and no image, so instead of:

I get:
[i mg]http://mywebsite/images/thatapple.jpg[/img]

what can I do about that?

Thanks for helping with this.

Please give me a reply on this. I ahve started to get the forum members on board and I would like to get the board looking good. I don't know whether this is a bug or something which I don't know how to fix yet. Thanks.--Fabienne

Sorry, I forgot about this. I took a look and could not figure out what was causing it. I restored the css to default so I know that is not it. Did you change anything in your html templates? If so what?

No, I didn't change anything on the html template, I couldn't have because (I hate to admit this) I wouldn't know how to load it up via my FTP function.

When I try to respond to a post, this is what I get. The smilies are presented horizontally which pushes over the response box. Very irritating. Can you help me solve this vexing problem?

Thanks for all your help. I am also in the process of learning about PHP and MySQL and did ask a small question in another part of this forum: is there a place where I can go to find out what the difference between PHPBB is and what I am using? Is the Invision BB hosted on your server whereas the Phpbb hosted on mine? I am getting the impression that is is, but I would like to know. Thanks so much for your help on this. Php is a bravenew world for me after using XHTML and css for so long. ---Fabienne

I'm having a similar problem when applying IMG tags all I see is the link and not the actual image Confused I have been scrolling around the forum for answers but the support really lacks for months of unanswered issues and to be very honest if this is the support we get its better off that people responsible should close down its doors or @least the forum coz there's lots of other websites that offer similar services with 10 times better support then what we get here Mad
