think each admin should have the option of subscribing to a forum alert mail list. One that informs them of potential problems on the server... that way they might want to back up their data if their server is not yet affected... PLUS the server admins can tell us when they do major updates... like new phpbb versions or domain names, and we can alert our members to possible down time, saving a lot of ip hammering when sites dont respond!
Just a thought!

I would like to know also, this happens so frequently, I have members emailing me like crazy all the time yelling that they can't log on. We need a new server or something, I know admin does the best he can at this but we need something so that these servers don't go down all the time  ...Angel |

| Backups won't be a problem if teh server goes down, but this is a good idea. |
