I love the bulletin board service. Smile My City of Heroes "Supergroup" uses it. We were hoping you all might consider adding the "comicbook" phpBB theme, if it's compatible.

Here's a link to a phpBB support thread on it (includes DOWNLOAD link):

Link to a demo forum running comic book theme:

My group keeps nagging me to put in a more comic book-oriented theme and this would be perfect. I hope you all will consider adding it, and thanks for the great board service. Smile

Great, thanks. Smile

Do you think there's any reasonable (i.e, not rewriting the template Smile) way to adjust the theme's font so the letters are both upper- and lower-case? I'm guessing the theme's font is an all-upper-case font (like in most comic book's text, in the caption balloons) and can't be changed, but thought I'd ask. I think we'd want to use it regardless though. Smile

FWIW (this is mostly Greek to me Embarassed) there seems to be a style sheet setting that can limit all caps to just the forum title (while letting the text be normal upper and lower case);
Quote:
Ok... in comicBook.css find:
Code:
/* General font families for common tags */
font,th,td,p { font-family: Comic Sans MS, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-transform: uppercase; }
change to:
Code:
/* General font families for common tags */
font,th,td,p { font-family: Comic Sans MS, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }
That should only leave the main title in all caps.

Installed. Sorry, not going to get into editing themes other than what I already have to do. Also all files are shared so what I do to your theme affects everyone using that theme.

That's fine, thanks a lot for installing it. I've set my board to let users pick their own themes from what's available, so it's all good. Smile
