It can sometimes take quite a while to get into the search engines especially google. But since you are part of my free bulletin board it should help speed up the process.
After being listed it may be difficult to get listed on the first few pages depending on your subject. If you would let me know which forum is yours I can take a look at it and maybe give tips to help. |

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=heat+central+forums
You are listed but under Heat Central Forums. With the subject of your forum you will probably have trouble getting to the top but what you want to do is use the keywords or search terms that people would most likely use to find you in your posts as much as possible. Probably Miami Heat or Miami Heat Forums. I would maybe even create a about us post entitled “Miami Heat Forum” with as much text as you can reasonably write with the keywords in it several times.
Unless you have a lot of people link to you your domain name will not help you much as far as getting found because google will only show the front page under the domain.
Otherwise you are doing the right thing by having posts viewable by guests so every page will be listed. |
