|
|
|
ive started having problems with people not being able to register due to "incorrect confirmation code".
i did select the option in the admin CP to use confirmation code.it seemed to work fine until i changed templates.now i no longer see that option in the admin CP,the registering party doesnt see an confirmation code and the error message appears.
TIA:)

| I was able to register just fine. You can delete my account "eadmin". What template was giving you problems? |

| Code: |
The confirmation code you entered was incorrect
|
still getting that and a bug with the profile not saving the user input/icq #
i think if a user starts with a freash board and selects this template then set up the registration to ask for a confirmation code it will work for XX amount of time then subsequent attempts will not even show you the confirmation code option in the CP.At that time users no longer see a place to even enter confirmation codes, they continue normally with the registration but end by seeing the above error.
i was able to get 6 registered over the course of a couple hours b4 the problem appeared.it does not occur with the deafult sub-silver.hope that helps. |

just want to add i think this is a problem between phpbb 2.013 and PHP v5x.
it would help to know if MFBB.com is running PHP 5x? |

the problem was few templates besides subzero support the v.confirmation option and require modification to allow it to be seen |

that was a general statement not specific to mybb.com.i did some research at phpdotcom and php hacks and the consensus seems to be most templates arent formatted with the c.code in mind and will require the user himself to mod the appropriate tpl.Wether thats something you wanna consider or not..........
i did try quite a bit of the templates here,i favored the darker ones but when i left subsilver i had problems with the c.code not showing up.i dont recall finding one that supported the c.code yet we know s.s and s.z works.
cheers
