Since people keep starting threads about deletion of forums i just thought i should make one thread where everyone should post their deletion requests, so that they don't get mixed up with the rest of support questions.
Only post request if you want your forum deleted quickly (because you want to start another one with the same name and stuff like that). Otherwise all forums with no admin Login will be deleted after 30 days. |

I have a question. Why do folks want their boards deleted? Also, it seems my whole board got deleted, I see in the OP here that boards are deleted with no admin log in after 30 days--I did not know that!! Was that a new rule I somehow missed?
Shouldn't an email be sent if a board is at risk of being deleted?
Finally, any chance my deleted board can be brought back??

| This is not a new rule, it's been around for a while. It's something done automatically. Unfortunately not e-mails are sent, but it's a good suggestion. So sorry but the forums can't be brought back. |

Oh nooooo!! All of my work is gone forever??
I honestly did not know about that rule--darn it. I do think a longer period of time than 30 days should be allowed though--JMO!
Oh well.

| I understand how you feel but 30 is just right. Some forums are being registered and no one ever posts and no one ever looks at them again. They take up server space. |
