OK--I thought I would post in here. I seemed to have missed this forum in the past.
Here is my board link:
http://www.myfreebulletinboard.com/f/?mforum=myfreestuff
It is set up for the various free iPod, iPod Shuffle etc. type deals out there. We use a conga line system so everyone has a fair chance at getting their FREE items.
I know many folks think these are all scams but they are not. There are companies out there that ARE scams, but the two we have are the two largest and proven legit sites.
Some of the other free items you can go for are:
Flatscreen TV/Monitor, Digital Camera, Notebook and Desktop PC. Also Designer Handbag, Photo iPods, MP3 Players, Personal Video Player and DVR/Tivo
Finally, Nintendo Gaming System, Apple Mini Mac, and Sony PSP Playstation.
All of these require you to get so many referrals and then you get the item shipped to you for FREE!
Some sites also offer you a CASH amount instead of the above listed item. As I said, the two sites we use are legit and I have already received a free iPod Shuffle and a Photo iPod---no charge! I am also one away from getting a flatscreen TV and a few others as well.
Please visit and if you have questions feel free to ask.
Thanks for looking and thanks to the Admin here fo rallowing us all to "plug" our sites! |

I don't mean to sound all huffy but it HAS to be a scam. There's always a catch and I BET there's one here. It's probably only open top USA or UK anyway so that rules me oput but you probably have to buy a hell of a lot of stuff or promote the company...I mean, why would somone just give out free stuff? It doesn't make sense - people aren't nice enough to do that.
Hell, I'm a sucker for these things - I'll join your forum. _________________ |

EDIT: Sorry, Linda Of The Valley, I just saw that your location is Ireland. I was thinking by your reply you were in Canada maybe.
Linda Of The Valley, hello there!
You are right! It IS a scam. But, not the two proven companies I have on my site. They are called Gratis and OfferCentric. Yes, there are many, many look-a-likes out there of these two. And THOSE copycats ARE the scam.
You do not need to by a bunch of stuff and I really don't think one is promoting the companies. Of course, if others sign-up with your referral link, I suppose you are promoting the company but you are actually promoting yourself in order to get the free item. As I said, I got a FREE iPod Shuffle and a Photo iPod already.
I could go into further detail but I don't know if the admin here would be OK with it. Regardless, as far as it being valid only in the USA, I am not certai nof that and would have to check. I am in the USA so it never crossed my mind. Although, I think one of the companies mentioned about Canada.
You're welcome to join my forum. I would encourage you to then post your questions about all of this there and you'll get replies I am sure.
Hope to see you there!

Me again!
I just see where Canada AND UK is included!!
Here is the homepage (not my site) of one of the two companies we list on my site:
http://www.gratisnetwork.com/Default.html
Here is what they say about the other countries mentioned:
Canadians and Brits feel the joy of FREE iPods!
Posted on April 28, 2005
With literally thousands of Americans overjoyed with their FREE iPods, it was inevitable that our English-speaking cousins would ask when they could get a piece of the action. Well, the great news is that now they can! We looked once again for the best quality offers we could find, including great services such as Screen Select and BT Yahoo! Broadband. If you are in Canada or the UK all you have to do is sign up at freeiPods.com and choose your country to get started.
Got friends abroad? You can refer your friends in the US, UK or Canada no matter which country you are in!
And for our French Canadian friends:
Maintenant que des milliers d'Americains sont tres heureux avec leurs iPods GRATUITS, il etait inevitable que nos cousins Canadiens nous demandent quand ils pourraient participer a ces offres. Et bien, nous avons de grandes nouvelles pour eux: maintenant ils peuvent en profiter eux aussi! Si vous etes au Canada, vous devez vous inscrire ci-haut a freeiPods.com et choisir votre pays pour commencer
It is called Gratis for short. However, if you do decide to go for any of those free items, be sure to start the process from my site! MyFreeStuff |

You are mistaken! I do not want your credit card! Not in a minute, nor in two minutes! Same goes for your address and anything else. My site (the forums offered through MFBB most likely identical as yours) has NOTHING to do with the two companies that give away the FREE items. My site is just set-up to make it EASIER for folks to get their items.
I would invite you to take a closer look at my site and more of your questions would be answered there. There are MANY folks who have received their FREE items. Like I said, I already have my FREE iPod Shuffle and Photo iPod in my hands--so, as far as I am concerned, it is NOT a scam!! _________________

Hi,
I just wanted to chime in and support the MyFreeStuff site. It is NOT a scam, although there are many scam sites out there claiming to give you free iPods (like the "shoot the cockroach" ones you see everywhere). The MyFreeStuff board only discusses the two companies who have been proven to be legitimate, and there are literally hundreds of message boards and online communities where people have posted proof of getting their free stuff.
I personally have received a free iPod, Photo iPod, $250 cash, and I have another iPod on the way, all because of the referrals I've received from this board. All you have to do is sign up for a free trial offer from legitimate companies like Blockbuster, Napster, and AOL, and then ask several friends to sign up using your referral link and complete one offer each. Some of the offers can cost around $5, if you decide to do one of the free trials of lotions, weight loss pills, etc, but there are enough free trials out there that you shouldn't have to pay anything unless you sign up for a lot of sites. The MyFreeStuff site is designed to help people get referrals, because you sign up under one person and then people sign up under you when you get to the top of the line.
Here's how the whole thing works. Let's say you do the Blockbuster trial offer for the free ipod site. Blockbuster will pay the free ipod site a finder's fee (probably around $20-40) for you doing the offer, because Blockbuster is hoping you will continue using their service after the trial and they will make money off you. Many people don't get all the referrals they need, but the free ipod site will still make money off the offers they complete. Therefore, they can afford to send out an iPod to those who do finish the site.
If you are still skeptical about this whole free stuff thing, that's fine. I was too when I signed up, but after receiving almost $1000 worth of free stuff just for doing a few free trials, I know it works. Please come check out our board. |
