| So, i just created my first forum here at myfreebulletin board, it is really easy to use, to increment my forum i intend to use some things. to begin with: what are mods? :blink: Mods not as site moderator(person). |

Mods are add-on scripts that are not apart of a standard board instillation that add new features to the forum. Since the boards are shared you do not have the ability to install them.

So... for examle... if I want to have an other language on my board... you are the only one that can install it, but not only in mine, the other boards will have it too...?
And... if It's not much trouble to answer me... why can't you install it? :huh: |

Yes, that is correct all mods are shared by all boards.
I order to offer a free service we have to do things that make it more efficient. One of those things is having a (modified) single installment of the forums. It wound be quite a task to upgrade several hundred forums when a security fix or a new version of the board came out. Not to mention the disc space saved.
I could install some of the mods but I won’t due to the fact that not everyone will want the mod, every time we upgrade I would have to reinstall them, and some would have to be rewritten to function here on mfbb.
