For the past two days we have been the target of a syn attack. Unfortunately these attacks are hard to stop.
We are working on a solution.

Oh dear seems i jumped the gun in having a go and i am sorry for that.
Can i ask what a syn attack and have you now got it sorted.

Someone keeps attacking the server with fake IP's, tying up the server and eventually causing it to time out.
Usually done with people with too much time on their hands and not enough common sense to use their skills for purposeful work. |

Oh dear it looks like its still not going to well. I am not sure of where to post about this in here as it may still be a result of the syn attack or in the topic i started yesterday about my forum being very slow so i am sorry if its in the wrong place.
I just can't get my forum to load up without loads of cannot find server problems or it just stops on a page and thats it. I did notice that even coming here for help and to keep up with the news is very hard as your forum is down a lot or very slow and you end up making lots of posts without wanting to.
Please guys let us know that all that can be done is being done as my inbox is taking a real hamering from many of my members letting me know that they can not use my forum.
