I am trying to open a second board but whenever I try and log in to the admin panel I get the one for the first board I made. I want this totally separate. I am doing everything right -- but you won't let me do it - is it a cookie situation or what!??
I also want to experiment with one of your skins/styles, but want to play with it awhile before attemting it on my board. How does one go about getting the .css for a certain style? |

Definetly cookie problem, just clear them and you should be okay.
As for the CSS file you can try downloading the full skin from other websites and play with the CSS file included. |

You can access different boards but not at the same time. I've found that if I want to go from one forum hosted here to another I have to first go to the home page of the current forum I'm on (click the banner), then I can go to the main page of the second forum. If I don't do that first then when I click a link on one forum I can end up on the other forum.
An easier way around this is to use a different browser for each forum then you can access them both at the same time with no problem, as each browser has it's own cookies. There are plenty of good browsers around. In particular I'd recommend firefox or Opera (both of which are free).

I guess you could just view source on the page to find the path to the css file then download it. For instance on this forum the there's the line:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="templates/alexisOrange/alexisOrange.css" type="text/css">
So if you go here you'll get the stylesheet:
http://support.myfreebulletinboard.com/templates/alexisOrange/alexisOrange.css
But in order to test it you'd need to upload it onto a server. It is possible, for no cost, to set up your home PC as a web server and install PHP and mySQL and then run PHPBB for testing purposes. I wouldn't recommend trying to run your forum from your home PC though. |

| Good point about using diferent browsers. The whole boards switchup is connected to the cookies. |
